Some of the messages in the show
- Remember when we first met?
Your first week, you rearranged the whole sprint board with sticky notes in four colors. We still use your color code. Nobody remembers what purple means, but we use it.
Priya - The days we pulled through together
Launch week, when the payments page broke at 11 p.m. You ordered pizza, opened a doc called "Calm Down" and walked us through it line by line. We shipped at 4 a.m. and you still made the 9 a.m. standup.
Hannah - A moment I was grateful for
When I moved over from another team and knew nobody, you added me to the lunch thread on day one. A small thing for you. A huge one for me.
Tom (Data team) - A moment I was grateful for
Thank you for covering for me when my dad was in the hospital. You never asked a single question. You just took my work and told me to go.
Sam - Anything you'd like to say
Thank you for five years of patience, pizza and purple sticky notes. Keep in touch!

Signatures and doodles drawn with a finger play back at the speed they were drawn. The rest of the messages are in the show.
Making a card like this
- Pick the farewell occasion when you make the card, and the same question slips are ready.
- Post the writing link in a channel the person leaving can’t see. The organizer’s guide has an announcement and a reminder to copy.
- Everyone writes from their own phone without signing in, picks a handwriting font and an ink color, and signs with a finger.
- After the deadline, set the order in the editor, press Finish, and send the viewing link on the last day.
For people who don’t know what to write, share the farewell message examples.
Making a card and the viewing link are free. Only the person who makes the card signs in, with a Google account.
